About the companyMERI CHAI — “MY TEA”
Indian roots.
International character.
“Meri Chai” means “my tea”. The brand is valued in India and abroad for its rich taste, aroma and natural character.
Vikrma Impex Private Limited was founded in 1994. We source tea from Darjeeling, Assam, the Dooars and South India to match our buyers’ requirements.
We are a registered buyer at all major tea auction centres in India. Buying, blending and packing are overseen by experienced tea tasters.
We produce and export black tea, granulated CTC, orthodox leaf tea, Darjeeling, green and flavoured teas. Long-term agreements with growers keep our blends consistent all year round.
The family business grew through long-standing partnerships. We supply Kazakhstan, Russia, Europe, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and also supply tea to the Indian Army.

G.D Tie-Up Pvt Ltd, a group company, built a warehouse complex of about one million square feet — roughly 93,000 m². The warehouses are two kilometres from the city.
The blending and packing facility is in Kolkata. Tea is packed in many formats here: tea bags, tins, soft packs and cartons. Production uses ten tea-packing machines imported from Germany.
The team’s experience covers production, tasting and blending, so we can offer many flavours and formats for buyers in different markets.

How do I get a price?
Press “Price request” on a product card or leave a request. The price depends on the item, pack size and volume, so a manager will calculate it for your order.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum batch depends on the item and pack format. Tell us which tea and volume you need and we’ll give you terms for your case.
Do you work with small shops and cafés?
The catalogue is built for shops, cafés, restaurants, offices and distributors. Describe your format in the request and we’ll suggest suitable items and pack sizes.
Where is the tea from and who imports it to Kazakhstan?
The tea is bought at Indian auctions and blended and packed in Kolkata. The importer in Kazakhstan is Akmaral Sauda LLP, Almaty; contacts are printed on the pack.
Are product documents available?
Packs carry the EAC mark and the manufacturer’s standard marks. You can request documents for any item in your request.
